Historic Faith Ministries is not affiliated with any re-enacting or political organization. Dedicated to accurately and enjoyably educating the public on Christian history as we live our our Christian faith, we seek to serve the spiritual needs of re-enactors and the public in the context of a biblically-based Christian faith.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, the inspiration and authority of the Canon of Scripture, and the truths expressed in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. A theological book on the creeds from 1882, The Historic Faith, by Brooke Foss Westcott, Regius Professor of Divinity, and Fellow, Kings College, Cambridge, can give an overview of this faith.
Ministry Goals
Founded in 2002, Historic Faith Ministries seeks to give balanced and accurate Christian history in a way that is sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of those whom we meet. While we do not compromise on the Gospel message we give, neither do we let our faith distort the accuracy of the historical information we present. We believe that truth stands on its own merit and that people are free to choose what they do with that truth.
