Historic Faith Ministries is a non-profit organization devoted to using Living History to teach to meet the spiritual and educational needs of the public by presenting Christian and social history and the impact of faith on society and history on this nation. Our focus is mainline Christian faith in the Victorian era (1837–1901).
In the words of Robert E. Lee,
If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper, but if we and our posterity ignore its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.
We believe that, to understand American history fully, we have to understand the role of Christian faith in shaping our values and world outlook. A belief in the teachings of the Bible, more than any other factor, has moved this nation to greatness.
Our main outreach are our Victorian Sundays.Victorian Sundays include a Civil War church service with music and lecturers. We also host other special Sunday afternoon activities, such as picnics, sports, and military drilling.
We would love to meet you!
